At the end of September 2013 I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the wedding of Karl and Tom at the Hacienda San José in Mijas. At our meeting they had made it clear they wanted the day to be, not “their” day but a day of celebration for their family and many close friends who were coming over to share this special event with them, so getting lots of photos of the guests having fun was a priority.
The day itself run very smoothly with the help from Angel, it was the kind of wedding guests and the couple enjoy alike, no stress or worries, just a lovely location, yummy food, great wines ,lots of love and fun without forgetting some rather emotional speeches.
The décor chosen by them for the day was airline themed and the colours were vibrant oranges and yellows. The three vases per table centrepieces were gorgeous and the final look was bright and cheery which worked fantastically with the Hacienda as a backdrop. Check out the lovely board they set up for their friends to leave messages, a lovely idea which worked very well and made for a few laughs.
I received this lovely message from Karl as soon as he saw the slideshow:
“Hi Talia, we got the images and the slideshow and they are fantastic. Thank you so much for doing such a great job! The photos really capture the day perfectly and I love how you managed to take so many of the guests having fun and the expressions on their faces.
The slideshow is a great idea too and it was a nice way to share them with my mum and close friends.
