My last wedding of the 2021 summer season was this beautiful event for the lovely Holly and Ross. It was a nice, calm summer, where the bravest of couples tried to re schedule their big day, not everyone managed to get there, they are mostly happening in spring/summer 2022, but some were luck to get suppliers, venues and guests coordinated enough to make it happen.
The light at the end of the summer here on the coast is at its absolute best. After the July and August blast, it mellows and warms up, the air is clearer and the sky bluer.
Their chosen venue, Villa Candela en La Colina, is a stunning traditional Spanish villa nestled in the cork oaks of the most exclusive area in Marbella, with incredible views along the mountains towards the Mediterranean.
The marriage of a traditional Spanish villa and all Scottish décor and outfits worked well to pay homage to their family heritage combining with their newly adoptive home in Andalucía. Thistles, tartan and the magical music which comes out of traditional bagpipes welcomed their friends and family to the celebration.
Holly looked absolutely stunning walking down the steps with her dad to towards the very handsome looking Ross, joining in a celebration with lots of laughs and some endearing moments too.
The rest of the day was perfectly managed by the team at Sunshine Weddings, with plenty of lovely food, music and an incredible dinner set up, which lit up when the sun fell on the horizon.
